Contemporary Hillside House In Colorado Overlooks A Steep Ravine

Built on a remote and very beautiful site just to a higher place a creek in Aspen, Colorado, this contemporary mount retreat enjoys a potent connection with the site and the surrounding environment. It was designed and built by CCY Architects and it'due south organized into three big volumes continued to each other by transparent bridges.

The rugged landscape plays an important role in how this beautiful hillside firm was designed, its orientation, overall layout besides as the interior pattern and the ambiance inside. The volumes contain a spacious living surface area, a guest zone, a master bedroom suite and a series of secondary spaces. The open programme social area features a fireplace framed by full-acme windows that bring the outdoors in and connect the space to the outside deck.

The master bedroom has a fireplace divider which makes the entire room wait and feel super warm and cozy. The kitchen has its own semi-private area on a slightly elevated flooring plan. It features an amazing marble countertop and a waterfall-style island. As for the residuum of the interior design, glass and concrete are the master materials used throughout, complemented past a fix of stylish neutral colors.
